Wellington West Photo Walks & Talks

We’ll be launching Wellington West Photo Walks & Talks soon, but first we’d like to see how we can collaborate.

What are the WW Photo Walks & Talks?

Each week people from all over will meet up in Wellington West to go on Themed Photo Walks led by local professional photographers. They will then meet up afterwards at local cafés, pubs, & restaurants to talk and share their photos.

What will happen with the photographs?

We’ll encourage participants to share their Wellington West photos on Instagram, to showcase the uniqueness of the area, and to encourage others to come check it out.

We’ll also put on a Wellington West Photography Art Show to spotlight the community art project and the participants.

Do you have any Theme ideas?

An example of a Themed Walk would be the rainbow. Each participant chooses a colour to photograph during the walk. At the end there will be a really cool colourful collection of photographs.

Some other theme ideas could be things like community, transportation, symmetry, etc.

Do you want to offer a one-time discount or special for the groups?

Since the groups will be meeting up at different cafes, pubs, and restaurants after each walk, it would be amazing to cross promote your business. It will help encourage participants to tell others about your business and to take photographs of them as well. It will also provide us the opportunity to photograph groups in your business.
