You could win dinner or shopping on us!
Wellington West Business Improvement Area is having our biggest Taste of Wellington West festival ever on Saturday, September 17, 2011. And we need your help to spread the word!
It’s simple:
1. Use Twitter to talk about the event on Saturday.
2. Include the hash tag #TasteOfWW in every tweet.
3. At the end of the day, we draw one $50 gift certificate for dinner or shopping in Wellington West.
4. The Winner will be contacted on Twitter.
What can I share?
· Whatever you like! We’ll even count “Aw man, I wish I was at #TasteOfWW today”!
· Last year, people Tweeted mini-reviews about samples, weather forecasts, and tips for their friends.
· Food bloggers love Taste, so watch the tag for reviews. ReTweets count.
· Remember, we’re counting every use of the hash tag as an entry, so the more you share, the better your chances!
A couple of extra rules:
· The winner has to be a resident of the Ottawa area or at least able to pick up and use the Gift Certificate.
· The only restriction on content: you won’t win if you include swearing, libel, or blatant advertising.
· The gift certificate is for $50 of food, products or services at one business in our BIA, with no cash value if you choose to spend less.
· Wellington West businesses and their employees are free to Tweet all you like, but the prize is for customers.

We're In The Top 10!!Posted on: 7/23/2011 6:48:26 PM Spacing magazine has named Wellington Village (from Island Park Dr to Holland Ave) one of Ottawa's Top 10 Public Spaces! The latest issue, which is Spacing's first national issue, was launched July 19, 2011 at the NAC's 4th Stage during a Spacing Roadshow event by publisher Matt Blackett.
Congratulations to the Spacing Ottawa team for a wonderful evening and we appreciate this outstanding nod in our direction! Wellington Village shares the top billing with Ottawa's most iconic landmarks: Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal, Byward Market and Gatineau Park! Thanks Spacing!
